Hi..Can somebody tell me if it's legit or even possible to sell under two different ID's for two entirely different types of merchandise? Have been selling for a few months specific kinds of items and want to be able to sell a different kind of mix which is totally unrelated seperately. Is this an insane thought? I usually sell the "pretty stuff" and have somewhat of a following for that, but I'm afraid to put cigar labels, country store stuff, etc. on the same ID or they'll think I've changed my offerings completely.

Yes it is fine. You will need a second email address. Make sure that you don't use one id to bid on things offered by the other.

Yes, you can do that. You must have two different email addresses to have two different userid's on eBay. And the two must never interact.

I have two different ID's, one is mine and one is listed under my husband's name. I list things under his ID that I would not want children to see if they check into what Mrs Santa Claus is listing. It has worked out very well for me.
