My fiance bought some printer cartridges on eBay a few months back.
After the inital purchase he has been e-mailing the seller to purchase more of them as a direct transaction. (Mostly the same type of printer cartridges).
My fiance did the initial asking of the seller to buy more, I don't think we were solicited to buy more from him.
All has been well with these transactions - just checking on the rules.

I do the same thing with mailing supplies. These contacts and sales are none of eBay's business.
The contacts made by a seller paying for his listing are the property of the seller. eBay has control over what happens activly through the site listings, but after that relationship has ended, it's none of their business. Remember, eBay is only a "venue".
BTW- I'm looking for a good deal on print cartridges - email me your supplier info at [email protected]

Nope its not a violation of any ebay policy they can only control what is on there website people have a right to sell anything they want any where they want.
there is no law that says all I sell must be sold on ebay just because I registered there I can sell at flea markets personel website other auction sites I just cant advertize at ebay directly to get you to the other places I sell.
If everyone registered to sell or auction goods on ebay could only sell there from that day on, Disney butterfeilds and other companys would be in trouble they would have to shut down all them fun parks and disney stores they couldnt liences others to sell there goods or they would be NARU on ebay.
