Can someone give me information on International postal rates--is the price of Small Packet, Parcel Post Air, etc. going up? I've looked around on the USPS site and can't find anything except what looks to me as though it's probably an increase for envelopes by the ounce and I'm wondering about packages.

I asked the Post Office clerk just before Xmas, and she said "Not yet, but soon..." How soon? she thought probably soon after New Year.

The whole system for international mail will change from a content-based system to a speed of service-based system. There will no longer be printed matters or small packages available. Now, you have:
1) Priority Mail Global Garanteed (PMGG)
2) Express Mail International Service (EMS)
3) Global Priority Mail (GPM)
4) Airmail
5) Economy Mail
