My question: Anyone have a similar incident or know the best procedure to recoup a FVF credit from eBay for an auction win that was canceled (Administrative Cancellation) due to my winning bidder being NARU'd two days after ending? Going through NPB filing channels would be a waste of time...10 days dispute settlement, notifying winner, etc, as she is no longer a registered user. I tried it today and got the screen..*WHOOPS! You must return and complete previous steps* (something to that effect). She is also my ONLY bidder, a *Buy it Now* winner @69.99 on 12/15. Should I email eBay directly...and to which address? Safeharbor? Timesensitive?

In over two yrs, this is my first experience with (and knowledge of) Administrative Cancellation. I've filed only one FVF credit in the past, fortunately haven't had much contact with eBay concerning problems. Wouldn't ya know it had to happen on BIN, a handy feature until something like this occurs. Buyer had an illegal ID & registration of mid-November, zero feedback, a list of auction wins almost exclusively BIN, none paid. She had been suspended late October under another ID.

This was a relist item. First listing winner was a NPB @ 62.00. Is this item jinxed or what! I didn't file NPB, as I wanted to sell the item before Christmas. Now with close to 10.00 lost on two listing fees, I will file for this one. Since eBay canceled, along with her NARU, is she technically a NPB? I should be able to relist without delay. Third time's a charm!

eBay used to be so fun and easy. HELP! The loonies have found me. Much appreciation to you knowledgeable folks for any input.

Nickname Beachbound here only..NOT on eBay.

I think you should file NPB/FVF on both auctions for that item. You will, unfortunately, have to wait till 7 days have passed from the second one, then wait the 10 days till the fee is credited back.

If you know that you aren't going to get paid for an item, you can relist at any time, you don't have to wait till the fee is credited back to you.
