I have a set of 6 chairs and a set of 2 other chairs that I would like to sell on ebay but do not know a good way to ship them or where to obtain boxes large enough for each chair. Seems the package would be to large for either the post office or United parcel. Anyone have any good suggestions on shipping larger pieces of furniture, thanks for any help.

Don't! Or list regional with a "buyer MUST pick up" statement.

Check the furniture listings and see how much closes with no bids ... the cost of shipping can be triple the final bid. And it's up to the seller to locate shipping because they are the only one who knows the local resources.

Some have sughgested "Craters and Freighters"
