clickstamponline sounds AMAZING..Does anyone use them???? I would like some feedback before signing up if possible.
$1.49 a month for unlimited use compared to $15.95 a month for stamps.com sounds too good to be true. I can't the support line just to double check and they were very helpful. Opinions from users PLEASE!!!

Do you have the URL for them? Sounds interesting...do you need to buy any equipment too?
Thanks...can't wait for someone to tell us how it does.

I typed in www.clickstamponline.com.
You will need a scale and labels. Stamps.com will give me a scale but for the price difference I'd rather buy my own.

I think it sounds to good to be true too! I've been debating if I want to take the plunge myself. I'd like to hear opinions from clickstamp users too!! Please post!!
Thanks,
Tammy

My hope and prayer is that clickstamps does not run everyone else out of business. Imagine the price Pitney Bowes will charge if/when they're the only player in online postage.

I used ClickStampOnline for a few weeks.
I would rather wait in line at the post office.
I got an offer for a free scale.. never got the scale. I did get the free month though.
My main problem with it, was that it ate up my system resources - probably an individual computer problem that doesn't effect everyone the same. But I had to reboot before I printed an envelope and after, or the computer was unusuable.
Second problem was that you had to "verify" and address. Someone gave me an address and it wouldn't verify and therefor refused to print. I ended up doing that one by hand the old fashioned way and waiting in line at the PO to mail it. There was nothing wrong with the address, it arrived quickly and safely.
Other than those two problems, it was fine. I canceled before my month was up and they very promptly refunded the postage I had not used. Customer service was very nice when I canceled.
Also, it appears that stamps.com interfaces with AW???? ClickStamp does not - I've never used stamps.com, so don't know if that is a liability or not.

I was a beta tester for the intial ClickStamp project for about 18 months (not ClickStamp Online, but very similar). Except for that I have absolutely NO affiliation with them.
When the beta test ended I switched to ClickStamp Online. I like it alot. I've had a couple of minor problems but their tech support was able to efficiently help me.
I ship between 10 and 25 packages daily. Combined with U-Pic insurance (another company I like a lot), I only have to stand in line at the PO for international shipments... hopefully that will change soon also (pending USPS approval for 'print-your-own' postage)

So does anyone know the 'code' they ask for? I figure it is a rebate or something free...as good as it sounds I still will wait for the code so I can get the freebie!

The code they ask for is the promotional code for a free 5 lb scale. Sorry, I no longer have the code. I received it in the mail. I have been using clickstamp for 3 weeks or so. I really like it. I did get an email saying that the free scale offer would take at least 6 weeks to arrive though.

Clickstamp has been unstable for us the last 3 days and their tech support on hold is forever. We are however forced to used them since E-Stamp went out of business, but now we use ClickStamp, Stamps.Com, and also simply Postage. A pity that E-Stamp went out of business, they had the best interface and you did not have to be on the internet. Bottomline, Clickstamp is about the only company I know since they are part of Pittney Bowes the should be around the longest so we will have to stick with them. We ship about 40-60 packages a day so I doubt I will ever want to stand in line at the postoffice.

mallard88: I send as many items as you do per day and I have had no stability problems since the first day I began using them over 3 weeks ago.
dthmj: If you never got the scale, contact them. I received mine within 4 days.

Does anyone know if this program supports Book Rate (soon to be Media Mail)? I see rates for First Class, Priority, Express and Parcel Post, but none for books. Any book sellers using this program and know a work-around? Thanks.

There is a category for bound printed matter, also one for special standard. Maybe they will change the name to media mail after the 7th.

Thanks, Deanawa. The trial version did not show those rates, but that sounds like it will work fine.

I just love this tiny little rural town..
The gals at the post office don't like me..I raised a fuss one time and they'll never let me forget it.
Anyway...they gave me the new mail rates today..for FIRST CLASS,PRIORITY, and the more expensive classes...not a word verbally or in the flyer about Media Rate etc.
I'm going to get clickstampoline so I have control of my postage...I have this gutfeeling I'm been taken advantage of more than once.
And do they bother to tell me that under 1 lb 1st class and priority go the same? NO.
And when I say if it's within 50 cents go ahead and up it to priority...do they say anything to help me out?NO.
You know the 'good ol boys' really still exist! Everyone was born here and is related and you can't say diddly about anyone less it will get back not only to them, but their kin...and they ALL will be out to make politely uncomfortable for you.
I'm a transplanted Californian...and I didn't know places like this really existed except on TV.
Thanks for letting me vent a little...now back on topic.
Think I'll go sign up for click...
Carole who has a POB because their isn't a mailbox in front of my home....
and no stop light in town....etc.
