I've had these boots for years in storage. I know they are from the 1940's, because they were worn by a 2nd cousin of mine. I don't have any books on vintage clothing items, and a search of eBay and the web didn't turn up much.
Are there collectors who like this type of thing and how do I decide a value? They are in great shape, barely worn if at all. The round emblem on the bottom says United States Rubber Company. I probably wouldn't sell them if they were only going to bring $10 or so.

Don't ask me why I remembered this, but I did. I suscribe to AntiqueWeek and I remembered reading something about rubber boots in the classified ad section. This ad has been running a lo-o-o-n-g time:
Women's Rubber Boots Of The 1950's Wanted. D. Seagrave, PO Box 23988, Pleasant Hill CA 94523
So I'm guessing there must be some kind of market for old rubber boots.
