Hi, There are some big problems with Amazon Marketplace and ZShops. I have started a thread here.

I think the Marketplace Site is messed up right now. I went to relist some items and kept getting the sign up page for Pro Account so I can't relist anything.

Hmmm, I just listed some things to see what would happen and if I got the same screen. They went through. Anyway I hope your right but I have this sinking feeling.........

anais ~ Did you list or relist? I had the problem with relists.

Nowwhat, I did one of each. But I already have a pro merchant account. I hope I am wrong but I think that they are trying to force everyone into a pro merchant account so they can put the used books into the z shops. Marketplace seems to be gone.
Read my other thread and see what another user has found. I'm feeling screwed again! :>( Good Luck to you! (And all of us.)

Marketplace disappeared sometime during the Superbowl as best as I can determine.
anais, please see my comments on your other thread in the Amazon section.
I'm going to call Amazon now and will post any results in that thread.

Hi Radh,
Amazon Reps are saying the disappearance of all books in Amazon Marketplace is a glitch and that they did not know about it until I reported it this morning. The claim is that they are working on it now. Hopefully they are! They deny they are doing away with the Marketplace feature. Most of us are taking "a wait and see attitude" for right now and hoping for the best.
It has been a big mess for all of us involved!!!!! :>(

I'm putting my bets on it being more than a glitch--publishers and writers do not like Amazon Marketplace--they do not like a clickable link to a cheaper used book (with no profit) on the same page as the brand new books

Zazzie, A lot of us are wondering about that. I just don't have a good feeling about this whole thing. BUT I have talked to 2 Reps and a Supervisor who all said that they were not going to dump the Marketplace program. I wonder who in that Organization could tell us for sure!
