A little while back someone posted a thread with a picture. In the picture was a bed with a dress (or some fabric item) on it, and a dog, a little electronic item (cd player?), a nightstand with a lamp. Anyone remember this????

She/he wanted everyone to guess what was actually the item up for auction.

I never did see how this ended. Anyone know what the item was?

The answer was almost everything in the photo. The seller didn't take a separate picture of each item. Just used the same picture for each auction.

I think it was the piece of fabric that the dog was resting his head on.

Hmmmmm....I had noticed HCQ's absence, and had wondered about it, as I know she has some health problems. But from the sound of the above posts, it seems I missed something else too. Where is HCQ?

I also miss HCQ's informative and witty posts. I hope she returns soon.

good question, perhaps a get well card would be appropriate.

No, I think she had a slight problem with the moderators in another thread and someone else that posts here. I miss her great ebay advice, whether I agreed with it or not.

Nana, I saw the thread to which you're referring, but it didn't seem all that serious.

I mean, I've seen HCQ take some real heat and not melt.

Could be on vacation...or should we start a "Get Well, HCQ" thread?

It was not a slight problem. Posts were left on the boards that were extremely nasty and pointed very clearly at HCQ. No apologies were made publicly for the seeming favoritism, even after it was brought up. It was highly possible that the moderators honestly missed the nasty references, but still did not apologize after it was explained to them. The offense was public, and the apology should be as well.

HCQ left in disgust...I think under the circumstances, most members would have felt the same way if it had been them.

The above is my take on what happened...
