I reported an illegal auction to eBay 9 days before it was due to close. In my email, I pointed them to an on line site where they could verify for themselves what I was telling them. Apparently they did this as they emailed me 3 days later to advise that they have ended the auction.
Today I was checking the closed auctions and guess what? The auction they said they closed ended with a huge bid several days AFTER SafeHarbour said they ended it!
Another kid gets rich selling 3rd generation copies of a series he recorded off teevee!
It's bad enough that these SafeHarbour idiots don't know what is legit and what isn't, but when they to resort to lying just to get someone to back off, I lose all my respect for them.

I hear ya! E-Bay cancelled several of MY auctions after someone reported me,yet when I emailed them with a list of fifty or so of the very same item being currently run, they claimed they have ended all these auctions and they are all still running with high bids.I think if they are going to not allow an item, then get rid of ALL auctions with it not just one persons. How damn stupid can one outfit be.

Update on my previous post. E-Bay did remove the other auctions. It must take awhile for them to get caught up on the e-mails.

It would be one thing if eBay told me they were GOING to end the auction. It's something else when they told me they DID end the auction yet it proceeded unmolested to the end, and received an obscenely high bid. I'll bet the winner is going to be very disappointed when s/he get the tapes.
