2 of my Searches are comming up with stuff I don't want!!
It's not keyword spamming, but 3 sellers have listed items that they think would "sell" better here than somewhere else (which is loosely related to the category, but isn't what I want). And it's driving me NUTS!!
I wish there was a way to omit these idiots listings from pulling up on my searches.

And when we browse in antique shops we have to weed through loads of stuff to find perhaps a single trinket we've been looking for, or even perhaps not find it, yet that is an enjoyable pastime. Ebay makes it easier and cheaper to find, considering the gas money and time you'd be burning. Yet go ahead and complain. It's even more enjoyable a pastime.

I think your missing the point completely.
I have 2 searches that I use in general terms. But, a few sellers mess up my searches and put "junk" in places where they shouldn't be (But eBay will think it's appropiate if I complain and will say "we need a second, third, fourth, and fith opinion" ).
I have to be honest; one seller whose mucking up my searches isn't selling well at any one time when he lists. Only a few lots get sold in that particular section, while the rest languish. I don't think even half of his listings should be in the category he's listing under!!
Let's put it this way; take your favorite search word or search bookmark and find one way one seller can mess it up with an extra page of junk you wouldn't touch and isn't related to the category, but eBay will admit ignorance and will leave the listings alone.
Ah well, so long as eBay get's their fees...

Look in their listings and see if there is something unique that you can do a "don't search on this" entry in your search. Example: I search for Ogden, Utah postcards - some guy is selling Nokia products and includes his address (Ogden, Utah, obviously) in every auction. So I just include -nokia in my search criteria and it filters out his 100 or so auctions.

There are sometimes ways to eliminate these "pesky" listings. Go to smart search and list the words that you may find in these pesky auctions and put it into the appropriate box. For example you're looking for a certain Ty beanie baby, but keep getting "not Ty beanie baby" in your search, just put in "not" and you've just eliminated those auctions that conatin the word "not."
