There are no fees at EPier, but there are also no bidders, at least in the catagory I sell in. I have had items up for weeks and not one sale. <sigh>

The one time I was able to access their site, it looked so much like eBay that I thought I had mistyped the URL.

It'll be gone in a few months a la Gold's ...

Some time ago I received an invitation to from Epier to sell on their site. My first impression was one of shock because Epier had the same look and feel of Ebay. There was no learning curve required I was able to jump right in and start listing. It was so easy and like I said remarkably like eBay. Heck come on even the names are close

I listed a bunch of auctions with high hopes especially seeing how many hits they were getting to their site and the number of seller's listings were getting larger and larger by the day. Unfortunately there was lots of visitors and seller but no buyers for me. I had plenty of people who looked at my auctions but they weren't buying while the same merchandise was selling just fine on eBay.

I had very diverse listing of auctions. Leather coats, wanted posters, serving trays, hearing enhancers, and steak knife sets, etc. and not one bid. So it wasn't necessarily the category I was selling in since I was selling in several different categories. One good thing Epier does is they automatically re-list for you if you check you want your auctions re-listed. There are no fees for listing or selling so why not. Well I had my auctions re-listed and re-listed and re-listed. I finally got a few sales but they were far and few between.

It¡¦s disappointing because Epier is so much like eBay in look, feel, ease of listing, and getting around the site. Even the categories are similar.

So sorry to say while it's a GREAT site it didn't do anything for me. In fact I stopped listing there only until I got a e-mail from them that someone had bid on one of my auctions. Frankly at that point in time I forgot I still had anything listed there. When I received the bid notification I went back to Epier and canceled several auctions that remained opened and revised a few that I figured would be nice if they got a bid on. Since that time which was around Thanksgiving two other auctions have sold there. One was a 7pc steak knife set and the other one was a hearing enhancer.

Heath & Happiness to all

I haven't, but take a peek at bidbay.com . It is set up similar to ebay (I'm sure most are), is young, but up and coming. Their customer service is great. I had a problem and the customer service rep called me at home! I almost fell off my chair. It's fun too like some other on-line auction used to be.
