Well, they finally did it. eBay has decided to go waaaaay overboard with their "spam" ideas. They are setting up a new system in which you can not get the email address of someone if you haven't participated in the auction. You have to submit a message to ebay, who will push it through to the other person involved. They claim that they will not read it. So why are they doing this? If they are not reading it, they are not preventing me from asking someone from another auction to buy my product. Bid retractions will go through the roof. Will I be able to have my email address in my listings?

It might be pain, but there is away around it. Change your user ID to your email address.
