This is what happened:

Customer won item on 12/16/00. 7 days later I received her check, item was shipped on the same day and positive feedback was posted on eBay for her. (She has over 100 positive feedbacks with no negatives.) Appr. two weeks later my bank sends the check back as NSF (No Sufficient Funds). I email customer telling her what happened. Couple of days later I filed NPB to eBay (customer didn't replied). 10 days later I filed for Final Credit. 2 days later she emailed me to let me know a money order is on the way to cover the NSF check and my bank fees. Yesterday I received the money order. What am I supposed to do now? Do I have to email this to eBay and they will cancel the warning they sent to her and deduct the final credit from my account? Please advice if the same situation happened to you!

Thanks!

Hi Pepi3

I had a bidder some time ago that took ages to pay. Finally after filing for FVF I received her payment.

I wrote to Ebay and told and asked them to remove the mark against her and they did fairly promptly. Can't remember what address I sent the request to though. I'll have to see if I can find it.

Yes, you're supposed to email ebay and just let them know that the customer DID make good on the check and they will retract her warning and re-charge you the FVF that you had been credited.

You can just write to [email protected].

I had a bidder pay me after I filed for the FVF and found this buried in the FAQs. They handled it quickly.

How do I retract my Non-Paying Bidder Warning or credit request?
Simply email us at [email protected]. Please be sure to include the phrase "Non-Paying Bidder Retraction" in the subject line of your email.
