I was told these were "bone plates" and they were from the late 1800's. I am not sure of the validity of this. Does anyone know what it is or how much its worth?

I've seen them referred to as bone plates and crescent shaped salad plates. No idea on value, sorry.
Are they marked in any way?

I believe they are most commonly referred to as bone dishes, sometimes bone plates, I've even seen them referred to as chicken bone dishes. Do a search on E-Bay under bone dishes there are about 80+listings.

Bone plates, yes...but this one does not appear to be from the 1800...more like turn of century to about 1930.
By themselves, they are not worth much: may-be 5 to 10$, unless they are Flow Blue and are well identified, or part of an expensive set, such as Copeland, Doulton and others.
