There used to be a poster from the NL who hung here sometimes, but maybe someone else might know.
My buyer is in NL, and the item is a paperback book, little larger L x H than the normal fiction. About the same width.
Cost of a 1 lb 7 oz package is $18.25.
I could get it into one of those US sized priority flat envelopes, (large).
If I used the global one, can I mail a book in it to NL?
I ask because an envelope is like a third as much, and I really don't want to quote $18.25 postage if I can get around it.
Thanks

I have used the small global priority envelopes to mail normal sized paperbacks. As long as it fits in the enveloped, it can be used. The envelopes don't protect the books very well, and I point that out to buyers, but most of them are more concerned with fast & cheap instead of the condition. I let them choose.

There's probably a more modest rate if they are willing to wait a few weeks. It depends on the bidder. Global does work fine though.
