I sold a card to a guy in Canada. The Auction ended on Dec 25th. Today, Feb 26th I get an email that was dated Jan 21 from the high bidder. He states he received envelope but no card inside. I use padded envelopes and tape them shut. The only way this card could not be in the envelope is if it was removed on purpose. Funny thing is the card I sent to Spain got there with no problem.

This was a $25.00 card. I offer insurance as an extra option. He did not take it. This email from a month ago states he is contacting "Canada Post" for a refund and that they will contact me. Nothing more heard from either of them.

I welcome any comments or tips here.

If you offered insurance and he specifically refused the additional cost, with instructions to ship uninsured, then you're probably in the clear, especially if your EOA or listing contained some statement to the effect that "the buyer assumes all risk of shipping loss or damage on uninsured packages". That doesn't mean he won't be unpleasant and leave you a negative, if you refuse a refund. You have to decide what it's worth to you to avoid negative feedback.
