Hi All!
I need to find a free email account that is reliable but untraceable to me. I am not doing anything illegal but do not want my competitors to know my business. I am looking for one from a smaller server, not hotmail or yahoo.
Thanks - you are all wonderful!

I have been very happy with:
www.care2.com
Plus, susposedly, you are supporting the environment -- so hug a tree for me!

I highly recommend myrealbox.com which is run by Novell. They don't use advertising of any kind to support the service and NO cookies. Also, they don't tolerate spam!! You can access your mail through a web based account or through your own POP or MAPI mail client, like Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.
It's really neat!!

Thanks, everyone!
I tried several free services - then gave up and signed up for a new mailbox at my ISP.
It didn't work, either. Oh, well. I give up!

Especially for sellers, it is a good idea to have an e-mail account from a different domain.
For example, due to pacbell.net's inability to prevent spam originating from their mail servers, aol.com has completely rejected all pacbell.net e-mail.
So, any e-mail I sent to the aol.com have to come from my yahoo.com account.

I have my regular ISP for selling and a box at zdnetonebox.com for buying. This works well for me.
