I am having a heck of a time getting eBay to load for the last few hours. It takes forever to even see the logo pic on the main page. I don't seem to be having problems with any other sites. AuctionAmigo Pro is having the same problem, it just sits forever trying to retrieve information.

Anyone else?

Well, I just tried to launch an auction and got to a page that said my UserID and/or password is invalid. First time that's ever happened.

But how can that be when I'm signed in?

magik87 and BJGrolle,

If you are using AuctionWatch.com Services, please post in the Services forum so a Customer Care Rep can assist you.

Good luck with your auctions!

Thanks, Joice, but it's not an AW problem.

The auction went up finally, but without half of the info. it was supposed to have. I had to revise it, and had an awful time with that, having to sign out and sign back in again.

Aaaahhh, who knows? Wait an hour and it'll probably be all right.

Nope, definately an eBay problem. I would blame Reflex since I am having some newsgroup problems too, but since the big E is the only web site that is pooping out, I say it's them. Really sucks too because I would like to list some cards today.

It does appear to be an eBay problem - there's another thread here, "eBay wacking out", people are having all kinds of problems posting auctions.

Yep! Definitely eBoo! - I have relisted 3 auctions - while previewing all was well, then I look at the "real" auction and over 2/3s of the wording is missing - so I had to go back and copy and paste to finally get it right - bummer!

I know that it is ebay and not me, lol. I have 8 auctions posted there that don't have anything but the buy it now/bidding showing. No Descriptions/pics. It won't let me revise, so how can I fix it without ending the auctions and being charged double fees? Help!!!

Greetings Earthlings,

Definately something with ebay. I just listed (tried) a group of 6 auctions in the same catagory. When I do this, if all the info and prices are the same, I just hit the back button to the sell item page after each verification and just change the title and description.

The first thing I noticed was that ebay (or somebody) was taking two extra cookies than usual when transfering to the confirmation page. Two of the auctions were cropped just as mentioned by posters above. Also interesting to note that on those two auctions, it looked fine on the confirmation page as mentioned but part of it was shown a second time underneath the "your total fee's are...." bar. And that was the portion that was omitted from the actual auction. I cancelled the auctions and "re-listed" them, as my experience with revise has always been frustrating.

When relisting ebay took its usual 1 cookie again. and the listings came out fine. It occurred to me that someone may be trying to hack passwords or something, but I guess thats silly.

The other unusual happening tonight was that I wanted to list an item under Books:Nonfiction, but evey time I tried to access this catagory I was taken to Computers:Apple/Mac:powerbooks! I tried several times, trying to access from different links to no avail.

Also, I went to leave a feedback and when I got to the page to sign in my ID and password, once again ebay asked for 3 cookies. Why does ebay suddenly need to gather so much info when I fill in a form page with my ID and password?

They're working on something over there....sigh.
