I just had an auction launch and nothing launched except the title. No description, no pictures, nothing. Anyone else?

I had an auction launch and it launched as a "Super Featured" selection and billed me $100. SO, I assumed it was my mistake, and canceled the auction, and did it over, and it happened again...I am sure it wasn't my error this time.

Hello Everyone,

Please post in the Services area if you are launching through AuctionWatch.com and check for updates. Apparently Ebay is having some tech problems.

I have had a few people I know email me asking the same thing. He emailed support and has not heard anything back yet. Not sure what the problem is but you better check all your auctions!

This is a major problem right now and it is affecting auctions no matter how they are launched. Happening to AW folks and everyone else too. Ebay boards are also getting hit with something that freezes your computer. According to Q&A ebay is working on the problem.

Gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling doesn't it?

I put in 16 new auctions through auction manager this afternoon and not one of them has any text or photos..title lines only. I assume this is an Ebay problem?

I posted in the services section and the post was deleted. Anyone know why? I reposted it.

And I just thought they deleted my description for having an email address in it or something. I ended my one new auction and was just preparing to launch it again without the '@' symbol, but it looks like that wasn't the problem afterall...if everbody is having this problem tonight.

I too posted several auctions tonight thru auction watch. My previews showed up fine and then I launched. When they showed up on my ebay auctions the description was partially there but no photos etc. I had to go through and cancel them all.

libbyparsons,

If there is an announcement in the Services forum and everyone posts asking questions that are answered in that Announcement, they will delete posts to keep it clean in there.

Hello moderator,
Whose Services section are you talking about? EBay? How do I go there? Sorry but I have not had these problems before so am new to this process. Do we have to cancel our auctions? I can't see how I can revise through Ebay without accessing my photos in Auctionwatch. All of the information that I entered at Auctionwatch is now just missing? No way to gain access to it? If we cancel is Ebay refunding listing fees? I see people saying that they have had this problem since last Friday, if they have not acknowledged the problem yet it seems unlikely that they will.

when will this ever end with ebay?fee increases, problems!,can't get email addys, all ready problems with people on those boards said they had a bunch of MAD bidders, whose questions weren't answered..THE SELLER NEVER GOT THE EMAIL QUESTIONS FROM EBAY..these problems & nothing on announcement board..that is a terrible way to treat us.(i never even try to get a refund..they always say there was no problem)check out the auctionguild.com website..FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT ALL OF IT..you won't believe they have been DOWN so much...see list...there

I had 25 auctions set to lauch tonight Out of that I got 6 listings. 13 listed halfway no descriptions or pictures and 6 didn't list at all. An entire wasted day and if I have to cancel them all because they are useless I still have to pay Ebay.

Same thing happened to me with 4 launches. I have already asked for credit for them, as I had to cancel them. We will just hold our breath on getting the credit for THEIR mistake.

How did you ask for credit on these All I came up with is them saying I had to file a nonpaying bidder alert??

I guess I was lucky as mine all launched without a problem at all. Are you launching from AW on line or using AMP?

Ebay announcement board says it fixed the problem last night by removing some code. However, there is still something going on over there as I am treated to a green & black screen and then a nice little jaunt to a teen porn site--my favorite!!

Dear XXXXX,

I would be happy to assist you concerning the listing problems of
yesterday.

>From approximately 10:30 to 17:50 PST, due to code updating, items
listed with quotation marks in the description may have been affected by
loss of photos or description text. This may have caused the picture not
to be displayed and all or parts of the description not to appear.

We corrected this issue by removing the code and no listings after 17:50
PST yesterday should be affected. In most cases, you may be able to
replace the missing description and pictures by revising your listing.
If this does not correct it, you may need to end and relist the auction.

I am terribly sorry for the trouble this has caused you, but I am glad
that I was able to assist you.

Thank you for choosing eBay and hope you have a really nice day!

Regards,

XXXXX
