....if AW had announced a flat monthly charge to use their services? Something like 10-20.00 per month? Unlimited usage, no percentage, etc.?
It couldn't possibly be as much hassle to bill credit cards each month as it will be to calculate fvfs and fvf credits.

My reaction would still be to go elsewhere.
I'm cheap. I compare prices on everything. Shop at discount malls, turn off lights when I'm not using them, etc.
Shop around, and you'll find that everything offered here for a price is free somewhere else. Now, if time is of a premium in your life, the flat fee might be worth it to not have to change hosting/listing services. But for me, someone actually has to provide a service I can't get for a better deal to get my bucks.
