Fond Adieu, as I say!
I have been toying with the idea of leaving Ebay for good for quite a while now, and today's outage has been the deciding factor.
I said to my wife when I listed my expensive deco piece last week that if Ebay bombed in the final stretch of this auction, it was game over for this old bird.
Ebay bombed!
Thank you Ebay! Surprisingly, I am relieved!
I'll probably also be leaving AW as well, and that doesn't feel quite as good. AW has been a very positive and informative experience for me. Learned a lot, shared a bit, laughed my donkey off more times than I care to remember, snarled a bit when the occasion called for it - mostly just had a grand time altogether. But with summer almost upon us the time has come to shut down ye olde computer and get a head start on my hard-earned vacation.
So farewell good AW friends! Keep the faith! I'll check back once in a while to see how you're all doing, but as of right now, I'm officially 'retired' and am about to go and open a nice cold beer to start the celbrations!
