I have been reading in some auctions where paypal will not let me ship to address other than the cardholder????? I buy gifts all the time and have them sent elsewhere I used to use paypal over one year ago and never heard of this. I do not use them for the little selling I do, since I found they charge now.
How do they know where you send anything?
It's a kinder, gentler, Auctionwatch now, I miss the edge.

You can ship to the buyer wherever you want, but their point is that if you don't ship to the address that they consider "verified" or "confirmed", you are at peril in the event of a chargeback due to fraud. Their "protection" will cover you as a seller in the event that you play by all the rules, including the rule of shipping to the address they have confirmed.
