I was cruising one of the Ebay chat boards awhile back and was surprised to see someone post about it. Followuing their link I was surprised to see just how high some of these things go......often over 50.00 and not unusual to see them nearly 150.00 Nearly all mint in the box [after all how much call is there for a used douche bag?] but still....I guess that is one of the wonders of Ebay and the internet....the broad User base allows Ebay buyers to seek what tickles their fancies.

Does anyone else see weird things like this that do real well?

Something to keep in mind once the estates start getting liquidated.

There were other threads recently about selling panties and Dog Turds.

Pehaps you could sell douche bags used by celebrites?

how much call is there for a used douche bag?

Sounds like a question I should ask my Mother-in-law.

Vintage prophylactic tins and condoms can also bring quite a surprising price. Seems like I've only ever seen these offered in unused condition as well.

All time wierdest: Whilst searching "hideous" because of a thread here on AW, I decided to search "nasty". People are selling old smelly running shoes and sandals to an apparently avid audience of foot fetishists.
The listings are very funny, usually showing the person who wore the shoes, with a tongue in cheek note to eBay about how they will be properly cleaned per eBay rules, they are just describing the current condition.
It is indeed a wacky world.

as an occasional seller in the adult category on ebay, I can tell you that there is a large subdivision of fetishists who are into enemas as a sexual kick. (These are often the same people who like to dress up in nurses and doctors uniforms...enemas just take the fantasy one step further.) Among these people, just as among any group of people with a common hobby, there are lots of people who collect older models, and antique versions of their 'toys'. That is why they go for big bucks. In fact on the kink newsgroups, the members will alert other members to enema items that pop up on Ebay. As a former moderator for one of the adult chats on IRC, I can tell you that the topic came up rather frequently....not one of my interests, but it's certainly engrossing (pun intended) to many people.

Foot fetishes are similar, although they seem to be a little more visible. There are two beautifully illustrated books published by the German company Taschen about foot fetishes and feet that always go for big bucks on Ebay. I have also seen them at Borders. Again, not my thing but...I figure everyone's entitled to their harmless fun.

I've sold several "used" douche/enema bags/kits on eBay. They were all 50-75 years old, and sold very well with lots of bids.

There are lots of weird things on eBay. I was just browsing one category for weird collectibles and see someone auctioning off a tshirt with human vomit on it! It takes all types I suppose.

I've sold three...

For $50, $150, and $475...

19th c. ones can go over $1,000...

brighid pretty much had the reason why, but some might be going to the medical equipment collectors...

Condition and having all the parts is very important and be prepared to answer questions in great detail. Needless to say, these people are quite er... anal... and kinda creepy...

But their $$$ spends well...
