Let's say you built up 1000 feedback on ebay. Someone takes your username on Yahoo or any other site and racks up negatives. Buyers would not be able to tell if that was you or someone else, but they'd assume it was you anyway. If you haven't already it might be a good idea to registar your name on these various sites.

Or you could add a disclaimer on your auctions, "NOT XXX on any other site but ebay".

Couldn't happen to me. Unlike here I use my email address as my User name on ebay.

They could get close though. Say you were [email protected]. They could get a hotmail account & be [email protected] & some people would just think you had different emails for different auction sites!
