I've had two bidders in the past three days send me duplicate payments through Paypal. I called Ebay customer service and was told the only thing I can do is refund the customer's payment MINUS the Paypal fee. They said they couldn't reimburse the fees even if they were sent in error since it wasn't Paypal's fault. GREAT! So, I either suck up the additional fees or charge the customer Paypal fees for their duplicate transaction.
I find it ridiculous that Paypal would refuse to correct this problem with the amount of business I've sent their way. I'm relieved to be cancelling my account when the new fee structure starts.
