I have had a very rude bidder who has not paid even though she has had several reminders and the auction is nearly 30 days old. I have feedback over 700, so I'm not too worried about the negative she will leave in retaliation.

I searched the feedback left and discovered that she always leaves negative feedback for sellers who have the nerve to leave her a negative for non payment. She now has 4 negatives (out of 158) for non payment. She has retaliated on all of them.

Ebay won't suspend her, so I feel it is my duty to warn other sellers about her. I'm willing to take a negative for my stand.

Is anyone else willing to stand up to non paying bidders with histories of retaliation?

Good for you!

I *always* leave negs for NPB's (as long as they aren't NARU'd already). If they deserve it, they're getting one from me!

I feel it's our job to warn other sellers of deadbeat bidders.

You, my friend, are a good eBayer! You're taking a bullet for your fellow eBay sellers by issuing deserved negative feedback to this person. It's the only true way to identify these bad trading partners.

We presently have 8 negative feedback remarks on our account. All undeserved. We bend over backwords for our buyers, but will also be sure to identify bad users and experiences to protect eBay and other sellers.

Take the negative with pride, as any reasonable user will be able to tell that the negative comment was retaliatory in nature and without merit.

Ebay WILL suspend her if yours is the third or fourth final fee value request.

So, you might want to neg her JUST BEFORE you request the fees. If in fact you ARE the third or fourth person to ask for the fees, she'll be NARU immediately, and won't be able to retaliate anyway.

Just don't do it until you are ready to file for the fees, 10 days after you file the non-paying bidder alert.
