I have a decorative plate with two people on the front in clothing that remind me of Greece. There are letters on the back that I can't read and I was hoping someone might be able to at least tell me if this is indeed Greek. They are KEPAMEIO and the last letter looks to be a backwards E - then the next word is XA a letter looking to be an A without the line in the middle then ANAPI. Any and all help would be appreciated! Thanks. Oh and there is a picture of a deer like animal in a primitive form.

HI there,
While I can't tell you about the writing, I can tell you a primitive type deer is used as a symbol of the greek island of Rhodes. Perhaps if you do some research of that island, you may be able to find the info you are seeking.

The aprox translation for 'KEPAMEIO' is 'Ceramics'. The 17th letter of the Greek alphabet is 'P' which is pronounced 'rho' it is the equivalent to the English 'R'.
