I've been using it for a couple of weeks and have been pleased. I got a bunch of 1/2
page labels (2000) from another seller on ebay
for around 4 cents each. I've actually been able to save some money by priinting them
myself. By the way, if anyone else is thinking about buying some labels e-mail me @ [email protected] and I'll pass the seller's name along.
Any other experiences/opinions about using the
free DC??

Since I'm mostly shipping books these days, I've only used it 4 times, but it's not bad.
I have free half-page labels that I got from UPS because I have an account with them. In order for the blue and red printing to not show up on the page, I just cut the page in half before I print the USPS labels. Works fine.
My postmaster said to check package services at the USPS website - that she thinks you might be able to get DC for Media Mail there for 12 cents. I only saw Parcel Post, but I'm going to check again.

I've just used plain paper. Cut the label out. Glue sticked it to the package and then secured all four sides with clear packaging tape(without covering the Delivery Confirmaiton section - which has to be uncovered). Slapped a piece of clear tape over the buyer's address and sent them off.
Seems to work just fine. I keep the other half of the paper for my files.
It's worked pretty good so far. I used it for my high end buyer newbies who pay by PayPal.

I have used it. Since I only print in black I cut the top off their priority label which is blue and put it on the label I printed. Works fine. The only problem I had was the Postal Worker doesn't know anything about them. So, what else is new.

I use them everyday. Although it requests you use a laser printer, I did ask at both of my local postoffices if I could use inkjet and cover with clear tape (even though it says you shouldn't). The postmasters both said that as long as it is clear tape, and they cold still scan through it (no bumps), that would be fine. In fact they prefer it, if I am going to use an inkjet printer, since one drop of water, and the they have lost the addy, since inkjet runs.I use plain paper, gluestick, they cover with clear postal tape. I also like that when you print it up, if thier is anything wrong with the addy, it picks it up, and corrects it!

We have used it a few times without problem, although most of our items are small $$ now and ship 1st class.
I just print the label out on regular paper with a standard inkjet printer set on best print.
Also, I cover the entire label with clear packaging tape and they have scanned just fine.

I have been using the Free DC on Priority packages and love it! (My PO hadn't a clue about the free part but they do now
I hear you can use these same labels for Media Mail and only pay 12¢? But the label clearly says Priority Mail Only!
Does anyone have the site that says these labels will be ok for Media Mail or where can I find the correct label?
I don't use stamps.com or any other electronic program like that, so perhaps I won't be able to get the 12¢ DC on Media Mail?
I copy the labels off the web and I do what anggellene does.

I'm using it too and its terrific. When I can, I print the label at work on my laser printer, but haven't had any problems with my ink jet label from home either.
I don't mail THAT much priority, but its awfully nice to be able to save that 40 cents for the buyers.. 8)
