This has probably be covered, but on my 3rd Checkout order I got an email from them that said buyer was sending a check. The information in the email indicated that Shipping was $0.00. So I sent my own email and reminded the buyer that actually shipping is NOT free.
I don't understand why one auction generated this and the other two I had left shipping blank. I've been trying to double-check my auctions but may have missed something. It's just added confusion for everyone, though perhaps to the buyer it gives the illusion of greater speed.
However, there is information that I provide in email, but not in the auction ad, that I feel is valuable to my buyers in choosing shipping and payment options, or which I don't want to broadcast to the world for one reason or another.

I don't know why the buyers go thru checkout when the shipping isn't filled out. I've been sending my regular emails out. Maybe they are hoping shipping is free. No way. Also I have Billpoint set up so buyer can't pay unless I send an invoice, but checkout overides this and people have been paying without shipping then I have to send another invoice and it costs me more money. I don't like checkout. I list with Seller's Assistant Basic and it's not compatible w/checkout. Sorry to whine so.
