Has anyone compared the costs of selling on eBay using Auction Watch services vs. Andale services? Or Auction Watch services vs. eBay selling services?
I'm sure that there have been studies made of selling costs, but I am not aware of where to find the results.
Thanks for your responses.

This depends and vary's On how many listing you do monthly.

I run around 150 to 300 listings per month launched from AW to ebay and I find AW to be still 10% to 15% less then many other services at .10 and fvf on the first 50 listings and .05 above that.

THe fixed price is a little different for high volume sellers it could some months cost more then other services after you figure in FVF as some other service will charge you the fixed price or the FVF only which ever is more not both AW you pay the fixed price and FVF.

Of all the services I have used and check out they are all compairable in price within a few dollars.

AW compaired to Ebay services AW give you eveything in one online or off line tool with ebay you would need two or three different services includeing mr lister and photo hosting and list maker tool so it more cost verses confusion..

as far as andale goes I think AW is the better of both as far as I can see there is no one who backs out or refuses to bid from Item listed through AW but I have seen and heard many complain and say they wont bid on an andale launched auction because of there check process..

I pay a flat $120.00 a year........and I get everything I need from auction templates and scheduled posting to complete auction management. They have free thumbnails......but I host my own pics for free instead and I pay vane another $10-15 for relisting............so I get everything I need for less than $150.00 a year. The two months I used Auction Watch.......I spent over $50.00........so if that were average......It would cost me twice as much to use Auction Watch.........don't get me wrong I love their service.......but $150.00 will pay for preschool for two months......and allow me to get way more done than auction watch tools ever could!

fritzdick, I have web space provided by my ISP for free. I utilize eBay's one free pic and it seems to be working for me. Just a little basic HTML to add pics to the auction decription and "viola"--no extra cost.

jeanyu,
you must be like me,not a high volume seller.
these sellers using andale or auction watch can launch thousands of items in a month.
if you are a high volume seller and you are profitable, then aw is worth it.
i have heard from an aw competitor that some aw users spent 1000 a month just using auction launch service, you figure how much their ebay fee is ,then paypal or billpoint.
