Is it the thread about Disney not having Checkout on their auctions? I think it has something to do with the fact that Disney auctions are not hosted on Ebay servers. If you click on a Disney auction and then watch very closely in your status bar at the bottom of the browser you can see it go to another server to get the auction. Some special deal Ebay must have made with the mouse.

To post a link here, you use UBB code. Type the following, removing the **'s.

If you read the thread Home Depot is also excluded from Ebay's Checkout and AFA logos on their listings. I thought Checkouts were for everybody?

I remember reading that ebay has agreements with Disney, Home Depot, and JC Penney among others for auctions on ebay's open platform.

I have accessed ebay auctions from the JC Penney site for example. I tried to do a BIN and got taken back to the JCP site to go through their buying process the same as if you were buying directly from the JCP site.

From what I can tell the open platform allows big retailers to have auctions on eBay you can access either through the retailers site or through eBay. I don't know what you get if you access a JCP or Disney auction through eBay. Sounds as if you get taken back to the retailers site to pay for it through the open platform.
