Is Checkout a "must use thing" implemented by Ebay? From what it sounds like here, telling your customers to ignore the checkout in your auction is frowned upon by Ebay. Is that correct? I have a big disclaimer right at the top of my Auctions before anyone even reads about the Item. Can't we do this or something?

Don't believe the rumors (if it is a rumor - I haven't hear it's frowned upon and even if I did I wouldn't take anyone's word for it except ebay itself).

FWIW, In the "return policy" box I ask my winner not to use checkout.
