Ive not received payment or sent items - Wrote him an email stating the facts and holding my breath - Ive offered to help him recover his lost payment and hold items till Im paid but dont want to send freebies- What would you do ? If his payment is truly lost, have your bidder stop payment on check or have them see if money order was cashed.
Then ask them to resend payment and give them a definate time frame to send the payment, like 10 days from now, etc. If payment not received, file a non paying bidder alert with eBay after that set time period has ended and if you have not received payment.

Do you accept on line payments? If so, perhaps the bidder should pay right away and you can ship right away.

Hang in there and keep stating the facts.

No, there is no reason to send these items gratis. Just because the feedback ball is in your bidders court, does not mean that they will neg you.

Why would you leave pos feedback when you have not seen payment as yet???

Do not send goods till you see the bucks.

Best of luck.

Thankyou Jean , When I asked if he sent Check or MO he said he sent Cash of course - Looks like Im going to eat this one - I was careless in leaving feedback before getting paid.
Thanks for the help

ok4leather, what is a neg worth?
Follow your gut and reply to the neg that you will get if you do not send items.

Reminds me of when I don't list properly, notice damage to item after listed and have to end auction and eat listing fees. And hear from supposed bidders afterward.

What idiot sends cash? It was his supposed risk.

Your only fault, you left feedback early. How does one really know this bidder sent cash?

Be strong and take this neg on the cuff. And learn!!!

And don't send the items on their supposed cash remittance.

Do the eBay thang, NPBA, FVF, and relist--but maybe block this bidder from your auctions in the future.

Good Luck!

Of Course he sent Cash.....

It's untraceable.
You can't prove you didn't receive it
You can't prove he didn't send it.

Of course he sent cash
BUT!!!! Remember...

It's untraceable.
He can't prove he sent it.
He can't prove you received it.

By law, it is up to him to prove it. Do not let him switch the responsibility.

Thank you two for the support - I feel much better about it now. Just have to remember to be a little more careful next time.
