Whenever I go to ebay Outlook That darm obnoxious Red Flashing banner hurts my eyes - Its quite toxic - Anyone know how to make it more soothing - Im not giving up this board so something else has to happen - my tylenol bill is going thru the roof....

Try hitting the ESC key on your keyboard. That will almost always stop an animated graphic, at least in IE and Netscape, but it only works on the current page.
To rid yourself of all animations in IE5, click on Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
Scroll down to the Multimedia section and uncheck the box next to Play animations.
Click OK.
