Ebay announced the following today:
"To help eliminate some buyer confusion that has been reported, we are bringing back the "Pay Now" button for eBay Payments (formerly known as Billpoint). This "Pay Now" button will appear only if the seller has chosen to accept eBay Payments and will appear regardless of whether the seller has opted out of displaying the Checkout button."
So does that mean there will be a big "Pay Now" button at the top that only triggers a person to pay using Billpoint? I'm afraid that a lot of sellers like to hit buttons--and might be tempted to hit anything that says "PAY NOW".
If this is true, I'm cancelling Billpoint/Ebay Payments once and for all.
Why would Ebay try to bring this back, with all the people quitting Billpoint because of deception?

I could be mistaken, but I believe that, in the past, if you accepted BillPoint, then PayNow would always appear in your listing when the auction ended. So, I don't think this is anything new.
