I picked up some Osh Kosh kids' overalls for next to nothing but there are some minor rust marks under the some of the metal buttons.
The overalls are 100% cotton - blue & white stripe so I don't want anything that will strip the color. Is there anyone left here who can help?

I have used it on all types of fabrics, and it works great!

I just started using a product called Yellow Out and have been having really good luck with it. I used it on some yellow pillowcases I thought I'd have to throw or give away and they came out sparkling white. There are some things that it hasn't removed all the yellow from, mainly those tablecloth stubborn yellow spots, but it did lighten them to the point where I can call them ghost spots. Also it doesn't fade vintage fabrics like Oxiclean occasionally does. We have very hard water so anything that works as well as this stuff is a blessing.

I use DIDI 7
Or this absolutly fabulous product
Called FOLEX
It's actualy carpet cleaner (wait...
But it works on many types of fabric,
For example I had a pair of satin pink
Shoes and one of them had huge inch black marker spot on them and it took it out no problem, this is list of stuff it will remove: pet accidents, gease, ink, red wine,
Coffee, blood, RUST, food stains,
Cosmetics, dirt, most old stains, also excellent for upholstery.
There were around for 30 years now,
You can get it at Home depot and
Many large places, I think Kmart has them too,
It's white spray bottle and has purple writing, 32 oz bottle will last forever since it doesnt need much and it will not harm fabrics (satin shoes are like brand new and I sold them for 3 what I paid
