I saw a beautiful description with a bullet list of the features of the item. I tried to make the listing in Word and then paste it into Auction Manager and it didn't work. Anyone know how this is done?

Hi Alwaysteatime!

This is done by using an HTML code.

The code is as follows:

<li> begin bullet
</li> end bullet

Use the code before the word you want to place your bullet and when you are done with your bullet points, use the code to end.

Hope this helps and Good luck

<ul>
<li>First Item</li>
<li>Second etc</li>
</ul>

<ul> is unordered list = bullets

a little more persnikity but you might as well do it so it validates...

If you want a numbered list use <ol><li> then type in your first item<li>Type in your second item...etc then close with </ol>

If you want a bullet list use <ul></ul> instead of the <ol></ol>

I use microsoft front page. You can make your list. You can do all kinds of neat things. Then all you do is click on the HTML and instantly you have your code. Just copy and paste into auction discription.

Do it the easy way: Download a free copy of Netscape Composer and/or Microsoft Frontpage Express. Both of these applications are as easy to use as MS Word. To make a bulleted list, all you do is highlight the text in question and click the bullets button. Want to add a picture? Just click Insert>Image and point to the URL for the pic. Want to make a clickable link (or clickable photo)? Just highlight the text or select the pic in question and right click. Click hyperlink properties and enter the URL. Want to use fancy tables to spiff up your listings? Just click the table button (or click Insert>Table).

With a couple of hours of practice you can churn out templates that make those you "pay for" look like child's play.
