I am using an auction service. . . and I can't get it to revise my starting bid (there were no bids) is it true that you can't revise the minimum bid, and must end the auction first, then start over?

You can revise your starting bid if there are no bids AND there's more than 12 hours remaining in the auction (that second part is a relatively new rule).
If your auction service won't let you revise the opening bid, then just go directly to the auction page and click on the "revise" link and do it the old-fashioned way.

Thanks. . .well, if they'd ever fix it so I could revise using IE, that would be cool. LOL. . . I hate using Netscape cuz it's on my work PC and I don't want to get 'busted'. LOL

I use IE (hate to say it, love Netscape but it always freezes on me) to revise auctions and I've had problems, but I tried doing what some people here had suggested -- waiting for a while between filling out the revisions page and submitting the information -- and it works. Five minutes usually seems to do the trick.
