Does EBAY have a procedure that has to be followed when a bidder does not respond? Actually she contacted me right after the auction- asked for postage amount and said she wanted to use PAYPAL- Have emailed her twice- no reply Auction ended on 11/13-would like to go to the underbidder- at what point can I do that????

Maybe your buyer thinks that she has sent your payment, and she used the wrong address. Wrong meaning, a missed letter or a wrong number so then it will sit in her paypal account until she fixes it. Buy sending the NPB alert that will alert her that you have not received your payment and then maybe she will go to paypal and see what the transaction is. Lots of things can happen and I don't expect the worse until it takes about a month. If you are one that depends on ebay to live then you have a concern. I do this for extra cash so I can wait longer. I give my buyers quite a bit of leaway.

Your attitude towards the buyer not doing what you want really bothers me.

You said the auction closed on the 11/13, the buyer emailed for postage info, and now you are already harassing this buyer?

Good heavens, you are turning this into a hostile auction. It has only been a few days, and people do leave their computers once in a while, and the buyer may have mailed their payment, then went away for the weekend.

Ebay only requires buyer and seller to make contact, not answer emails demanding to know how and when payment is going to be sent. Some sellers really have control issue problems. Not you of course.

Go to www.bluemountain.com and send her a nice card requesting the status on her payment. When you create this card, click to be notified when she views it.....I have found this the best way to know whether my emails are being read and ignored....or they are just away and haven't read them yet. When I send the card, I let them know that I get a notice from bluemountain that lets me know they have recieved my notice and if there is no reply from them within 24 hours after I know that they have read my email, then I have to assume they are a non paying bidding that has no intention of following thru with the auction.......at that point I file the non paying bidder charges with ebay....this method has worked well for me and most respond and forward payment if it hasn't been sent already.....One of the best tips that I read on this board for notifying winners.....Keeps me from sitting around and wondering if they are getting my email or just ignoring me.....

7 days seems to early to give up on the buyer. As someone said, not everyone is online everyday.
