I decided to do a Damp Run (kind of like a dry run, except it is a real auction), to prepare for the reduction in auction fees. I set up an item from my Inventory to be auctioned off on Yahoo using AM. After a couple of false Starts, I finally got my item up for sale. I figured that it would die a quiet death, and then later this week I would update my auctions for Yahoo start them at the reduced rate. Well, nice suprise, I got a bid! I am actually going to sell something on Yahoo the first time I List there. I am 1 for 1!

WOOO HOOO

Good for you! I listed 26 items about 12 hours ago, and so far, only 1 person has looked at 1 item! I am concerned that a lot of the buyers have left due to low listings, I think it's going to take a while to increase the buyers again. It felt so good to be listing on Yahoo again, and I will still list on eBay, mostly things that I feel have more chance of several bidders.

Hi, good for you!i am trying the auctions
homepage .99 AUCTIONS never did that ever before, well
on 3 things hundreds of hits in a few days..sold them all ..
i have one item with over 500 hits in a few days..figured out why..
Yahoo is now putting auction links in their big SEARCH ENGINE..wow this will be wonderful..
if everyone listed say 20 -50 items for a few weeks to try i would help get some competition for the big guy & you may be shocked..steady sales..
not bad for a NICKEL 9.99 & under.to list
free gallery & all the other cool features..i love the 3 free pics..
my ebay stuff just died with checkout..some weird thing..i am very happy now.
good luck wherever you sell ps good group at the community message board
if you need help..
