Hi, all! Took a lot of photos in early September, used some of the photos to sell some items, and between then and now we have moved to Southern California. All is a mess, of course, and I'm just getting back to looking at my archives in AW. Some of my photos have red warnings that my pictures may be deleted soon.

I seem to remember that there's an easy way to save them further--is it just by pulling them up and looking at them again, now? Or is there a link I need to go to, to save them all? I'd appreciate your advice (and if you have time, some help opening and unpacking all those !@%$#$% boxes!). Thanks in advance. ~ Adele

Adele,

Can't help with those boxes <grin> but all you have to do is open the pictures and look at them again. This restarts the AW "clock".

Have fun unpacking. We moved a year ago July and swore never again (again!).

Thanks, harmonygrove. And, yes, never again for me, either. My next move will be a nursing home or the grave, I swear. Soooo hard. And just this morning eBay suddenly alerted us that they don't have new expiration information for my credit card and in five days will be sending someone to arrest me, I guess. So another minicrisis averted.

So. . . dumb question number two: Do I need to pull up each individual picture, of the 80 or so remaining, to look at, or is there a shortcut on that? Thanks again! Adele

Hi roadsmith

I think you still have to click on each picture. It's a pain to do as I did mine again yesterday and it took forever.

Good luck in your new location. The thing about moving is that you tend to forget about how much work it is until you do it again.

Yes, every picture. But some will say "scheduled for deletion"., these are in most immidiate danger. Do those first. Also, you don't need to wait for the pic to download. As soon as you see the screen change to begin the download, hit page-back and do another. Also, when you get back to the list it will still have the message, but doing a "refresh" once in a while will clear the msgs. Been-there-done-that! Dave.

Roadsmith,
Another way to save them is to use them in a new auction. You may want to create a new auction in the "test auctions" category and attach all the pictures to it. Then end the auction. It will only cost .30 to try and it might work.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

don't use the page back button. after you click to open them, as soon as they start opening click on them again. this will take you back to your thumbprints and the warning will be gone. 1 at a time though. have fun and good luck in your new home.

Thank you, everyone! As always you're very helpful. Rarriffle, I took your suggestion and didn't hit the back button, just clicked on the picture as soon as it began to reveal. It worked. Took a little time but worth it. Have a nice evening, all. ~Adele
