Anyone have any info. on where I can get tyvek envelopes like the ones I am using with priority mail. I ship clothes in them and I can cut my shipping costs down if I can find some at a low price.

I am not sure if you want the priority kind or the plain kind, so let me share both with you. You can get free priority mail supplies at this link:

If you want the regular ones without the priority mail, I usually get mine on Staples.com. They have good internet coupons for like $30 off $100 and $10 of $50. They send the coupons to their customers and a lot of their affliate sites also have their codes as well. There is also free shipping over $50. It is a pretty good deal if you buy in bulk. Hope this helps!

I also ship clothing in the priority tyvek envelopes, sure beats 5.7 ounces and 8.5 ounces on the boxes!
But I received a post card from USPS a week or so ago that the size is changing....I think it is about a half inch each way. I ship large size shirts and sometimes I do not have a half inch to spare! So I plan to use 2 envelopes if need be. Still weigh less then those boxes.
BTW, I don't have any idea if there is any truth to this or not but I was told at my PO that the envelopes always move faster in the mail because they can fit more in the bin then they can the boxes. So envelopes will move out first. Who knows!

I would look at some of the shipping supply places like uline.com and chiswick.com for Tyvik envelopes. Someone suggested Staples but unless the coupon and aggravation of using their horrible online site really saves, I wouldn't waste my time buying from those thieves. Their shipping supply prices are a major profit center, and outrageous. Same for Office Max and Office Depot. I have checked them all.
You might also see if someone is listing them on ebay or yahoo. Just watch the shipping which is often the profit center for online sellers of office supplies.

The plastic ones are so cool! One of my local post offices has them in addition to the tyvek. I grab a big handful every time I'm there because I'm afraid people will discover them and start doing the same thing.
When you seal them, they are almost air tight but they are not as stiff as the tyvek, so I would imagine clothing would bunch up or slide around in them more.
