I have a really nice piece of vintage furniture that I got a great bargain on at a yard sale, but I would like to know about how old the piece is. Can you put an approximate time period to wood wheels / casters on the bottom of a dressing table? Thanks! If anyone can tell me anything about this piece (types of wood it's made from, or on how to identify the piece in any way, or would like to see pics, email me at [email protected]. It's a great little table. It has a lot really fancy woodwork. And I only paid $10!

Thanks! Merry Christmas!

I'm sorry. I'm kinda new to this. I'm not really sure how to post a picture to the board. I will be taking a picture of it this evening however, and will forward a pic on to those who request it. Thanks a lot!

Still none of that code stuff makes any sense to me. I can't do a link or picture. But I can say <font color=purple>THANKS!</font>. That's it. Ain't I pathetic?

Merry Christmas and thanks for the page of codes. I have bookmarked it and will try working on it.

Thanks to GW Enterprises for letting me know about my dressing table!

Merry Christmas All! And God Bless America!

what I do is open a new email (blank) go to that page and copy and paste the code I want to use, paste it to the email, and then copy the website url or picture gif/jpg I want, go back to the email, highlight where they say "paste your whatever here" and paste mine. Then copy the whole thing here. You just have to make sure you take out the $$ signs too though.
It's a different format HERE than it is if you're doing an auction on Ebay though, so that's why your purple thing didn't work, don't despair!

magononi420, if you will list where the picture is stored and the name of the picture, someone here will try to get the picture in for you.

For days now, I have tried to stop myself from saying this...but I just can't help myself.

Why in the world would you actually want to go out on a date with an old piece of furniture?

Ok, I'm not sure if I am even going to do this right - but here is my attempt. It took me awhile to find a free image hosting site; sorry it took so long.

I tried taking a picture of the entire piece, but I don't have great lighting, so the picture turned out way too dark to see any detail. Here are the rest of the pictures that I took. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

http://www.snapfish.com/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=3472185/t_=7209

It probably won't be a link - but this should be the address to my photo album at snapfish. The album is called "Dressing Table."

I do know that this piece did not have the typical mirror that was attached to the back of the piece. This piece has no holes in the back where the mirror would have been attached, nor is the top of the piece marred from something sitting on it. The piece did not include the mirror when I bought it, so you are just looking at the table.

Thanks again!
