I bid and won a Franklin Mint Lesabre car (Oct 11). Sent payment (MO). Her FB is +503 10 neutrala and 1 negs1. All 11 -FB and the 10 neutrals say she either was very slow in shipping or didn't ship at all. She said she sent the item and it was returned by the PO. Well, I live in a very small town and I know the ladies there. They assured me nothing arrived. Pure BS.

How effective is the fraud reporting system eBay utilizes? I have been speaking with the The National Fraud Information Center in preperation for charges. What can they do to help? What else can I do? All I wanted was what I paid for.

USELESS!!

"she either was very slow in shipping or didn't ship at all"

All you can do is keep in contact with this "Winner" of a seller. Hope your stuff will show up before you die of old age.

You can email safe harbor, but do not hold your breath waiting for help.

Keep all email copies you get from them, and keep on them about shipping date.

Hope it works out ok for you.

I have had the best luck when I,

1. File a complaint with the seller's State Consumer Fraud Dept.

2. File a complaint with the BBB

3. File a complaint with fraud.org

4. File a complaint with her police dept.

5. File a postal fraud complaint.

All above agencies will contact your seller. After about the third or fourth letter she receives, you will have her attention. Most of these can be done online.
I don't use these services lightly, but two sellers who tried to scam me, sure changed their minds when contacted by their state Attorney General's Dept.

Not my name on ebay.

if a seller is always slow in shipping or never ship, there is a good chance she does not have the merchandise on hand when she lists the item on ebay and hope to get it with your payment.
sometimes waiting too long,2 weeks can be long, the item is no longer available or out of stock.
how expensive is this item>?this is common with expensive items like laptop, cameras, scanners.
or it could be a piece of collectibles or antique which seller found in local store/

Thanks for the suggestions!

I will be doing all of these things. It is not just the $$ anymore, it is the principle. She thinks I will give up, NOT ME!

On another tidbit of info on her. The last 16 of 25 feedbacks that she left for others were negative! Sounds like a pattern to me.
