I guess they're at it again, fixing something that ain't broken. Sometime this afternoon the search box on my seller page disappeared. I like it because my IE would remember certain words I put in for a while. When I go to the general search it doesn't have the drop down feature.
The GOOD news is I hear my @home is safe for another 3 months.

I wonder what they were thinking???

I use that box whether I am viewing another seller's items and looking for something to buy, or just viewing my own and checking how the competition is doing. I LOVED THAT FEATURE and cannot believe it is gone.

I wonder what will be next.

Everything looks higher up on the page now.

The text for "Items for Sale by" looks way higher on the page now.

Kiara, it's not the "Items for Sale By" search that's missing. It's after you search on a seller's auctions and get a list of the seller's auctions - there used to be a nice and simple search box there that let you quickly search on open or closed auctions and title or title and description - now there's nothing there.

I have my own auction listings bookmarked, and this tends to be my first means of access to ebay - I suspect it's the same for other sellers too. I used to be able to pull up my current auctions to see how they're doing, then I was able to do quick searches to do some research on items that I had recently purchased or were about to list to see how they're faring on ebay. Now I have to go to another launching point to conduct a search. I can generally at least see the logic behind some of ebay's revamps, but this one is ridiculous.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear. I was looking at an ebay seller list page where it shows all her auctions.

Where it says

Items for sale by ebayseller (1098)

That is the text or part that I meant that is up high now and the search box is gone.

"ebayseller" is not the ID I was looking at. I just used it for an example.

ditto.....I miss it too.....now we have to go thru more steps to do a search rather than from the same view page.....I was hoping this was an ebay glitch today as all the closed auctions in my watchlist did not say "ended" instead they had a funny looking sort of numbers after all the closed items......still hoping it's just a glitch and it will be back tomorrow......

I noticed something missing and different on this page too. I couldn't figure out what it was, but now I know. Everything looks out of place. I also use auto-complete on search boxes, and with it, the search box was very easy to use!
