I have about 3 hours to get a package out
by FedEx, to be received before Christmas.

My customer apparently had some problems and BidPay's emails are very slow.

This item is just under $100. so I just can't send it without authorization.

I received their first email about 8:00 this AM. No confirming email yet. But, their emails are running behind.

I opened an account recently, and on the account it now says mailed, NOT pending for
this order.

I know the first email says "DO NOT SEND" until 2nd email is received. But, because
it says SENT in my account is it safe to
go ahead and send if I get down to no time left and have to make a decision?

I won't be selling through Dec. 20th again!

Thanks ahead of time. LabRat

So far in our account with them when it says mailed it always has been. But then we have also received the second confirmation e-mail. It looks like their system is running behind now.

What is the buyer's feedback like? I would mail it but I always take chances. It is up to you whether you want to or not.

Thanks Kiara,

He has under 10 feedback, all positives so far.

I ask for the Bidpay order number twice from him and didn't get it. I am not sure if it was Bidpay or the customer, but this has been going on since Thursday.

Although he said he paid Thursday night and Friday, I didn't get anything from Bidpay until this morning...and it said it was paid today. He also shorted me about 5.00, sending less than we agreed.

Shipping will be over $20.00. This auction was for a hard-to-find item. Some red flags are appearing here, but with Bidpay
saying the money order has been sent, I wonder if I could send it.

It could be that BidPay is having problems with their account pages too though and I would be screwed.

Well, I missed this Q and A when I was going through their site. It looks like it is okay to send when the account says mailed. I hope so. LabRat

Q. Can I send the merchandise to the buyer upon receiving the approval confirmation message from BidPay.com ? If so, what guarantees do I have of receiving the money order?

A. As soon as you receive the second confirmation email or have logged into your account manager and have been informed that the order has been mailed out, you may ship the merchandise if you wish. At this point, BidPay.com is advising you that the money order has been mailed by BidPay.com .

Their front page advises that their confirmation emails are running 24 hours behind, but I'm still waiting for an email from 2 days ago. If it shows paid in your account, it is safe to ship.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
