Well, here we are on Christmas night; I decided to check and see how my FLD auctions were doing.... EBAY is down. Can't even get to the home page! It's been like this for at least an hour. Being Christmas night, I wonder if anyone is at EBAY to monitor/fix the problem. Sure glad my FLDs aren't ending this evening!

Sorry you're having problems! We're in NYS. I've been on EBAY all afternoon and haven't had any problems and it's still going strong. Just got AW back, though, it's been down all afternoon. Good luck to you!

can you try again; go to the ebay page and hit REFRESH. I just tried it three times, re-booted my system and still cannot get anywhere on ebay. I can get to other internet sites, but not ebay. PLEASE refresh your ebay page and try again. thanks!

AW was down Christmas day and still at 2 a.m. CST on 12/26. On 12/26 at 9:45 a.m. all seems to be working again. I had tried logging into the various servers, main home page, but no difference. So I missed starting eBay auctions when I wanted to during the Christmas fun to post some attractive Buy-it-Now items.

Well that explains why auction I had set to launch last night all errored out. The detail says unknown error Ebay server. Guess the true error was AW was down.

One of the reasons eBay or other sites may be inaccessible is that your connection isn't what it should be-the routers or whatever just can't get the path. I find that 99% of the time I can get into a seemingly "down" site by simply reconnecting to my provider. It's a pain to disconnect and redial, but I still do this way less than when I was using AOL.
