I listed 30 items on free listing day and when I recieved the End of Auction Notices you could not longer click on the email of the buyer. I had to copy and start a new email on each one. Also when I went to copy the title, # and selling price, it produced all kinds of strange combinations on the email. (format)

So just another nail trying to get us to use checkout. I still miss the description being in the end of auction notices.

I hadn't listed for a while so how long has this new "improvement" been going on and does it bug any one else????

Yes, it really bugs me too! It takes so much longer to send EOA messages, and I too miss the description at the end, my titles are often descriptive of the craft book, and I have to keep going to the auction to get the title, which I always put in the description.

This might help:

I go to Search by Seller, enter my id ask for email and last day. Those email address are clickable. I copy & past the # and title in my copied and pasted form. Also since I use flat rate shipping I can easily click the item and see the shipping cost I quoted.

This has been working great for me. But I am always looking for faster ways to accomplish this task.

I like it because now the subject line is filled in with the item title and number when you hit reply. Far easier to type in an email address than the subject line info.

Thanks Quickdraw,

I didn't think of just hitting reply and the info is all there. I will just copy and paste the email address. Should simplify.
although I;ll have to delete all the junk in the email since my one paper copy I keep is the notice I send to the buyer with all the info.

I just resent ebays tactics. They had to purposely make the links non clickable, I never know how to make it happen. I just know if I type my email in an email it becomes clickable.

I use a service at www.vrane.com to send out my notices... this has all of the info prefilled in and all you have to do is click and send... the service is not free, but is is VERY resonable (there are free things on this site, too).

This is what I do. I use the EOA email that ebay sends by chosing compose select forward then cut and paste their email address in the To: I put the address in there and in the subject line is ebays auction number and title. Works really well.
