I have tried for two days to do a practice usps confirmation label. I comes up saying it doesn't recongnize the address. I tried putting my address to my address. I tried putting in my address to another address. I doesn't recongnize any of them. What am I doing wrong here? How do I use this site? Do I need an account or something? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but any help would be appreciated.

I have went to use this site about 5 times and was able to get it to work 2 times. Also my local postmaster told me this site is temporary and will probably close in January.

I did about about 10 labels yesterday and 2 this morning with no problems. I asked if it was a temporary thing, and our postmistress said they have nothing to do with the on site items, but that it has gone over good, and they haven't heard anything about closing it down (hope your postoffice is mistaken!).
I am surprised at how often (about one in 20) people don't know their correct addy's..when I tell them it's not recogized, they usually come up with the correct one. It's usually apartment buildings that have the probems.
I love it, and hope it's there forever..even though it's not as good as when you pay (they don't scan it til they get to the people's house..so it's not really "proof" that you actually shipped.
